Educating clients about the importance of leather and shoe care has always been a very important part of the store. And from day one it has never been how prestigious the brand of your shoes are , or how much your shoes cost. It's about the willingness to understand what shoe shine and polishing is all about.  Some of the shoes that came in during last Saturday's workshop were out of shape...

A beautiful pair of Chapel from John Lobb came into the store the other day for a polishing service. We've seen this shoe a couple times in the store and I've always thought the modernistic interpretation of the buckles was very elegant. With this pair, the museum calf just elevates the look quite brilliantly.
