Educating clients about the importance of leather and shoe care has always been a very important part of the store. And from day one it has never been how prestigious the brand of your shoes are , or how much your shoes cost. It's about the willingness to understand what shoe shine and polishing is all about.
Some of the shoes that came in during last Saturday's workshop were out of shape and had bad creases with shoes forking up on the front. Shoe trees are essential in keeping the shape of the shoe; best thing is they last you a long time. Sand off the top of the cedar wood if you find them dull or old. The scent of the red cedar is almost certain to keep pests and nasty insects at bay.
We hold shoe shine workshops every month so keep a look out for the next one if you missed last week's session.
