1. Preserves the Bag's Structure: Over time, without support, bags can sag, collapse, or lose their original shape. A bag pillow helps fill the interior space evenly, preventing the bag from deforming, which is particularly crucial for structured bags.

2. Avoids Creases and Wrinkles: When bags are stored improperly, creases can develop in the leather or fabric. A bag pillow prevents this by keeping the material stretched just enough to avoid those wrinkles.

3. Protects the Material: By maintaining the shape, a bag pillow reduces strain on the material, particularly on the leather, which can develop cracks or wear prematurely if not supported correctly.

4. Helps with Long-Term Storage: For those who store their bags for extended periods, a pillow ensures that they retain their original form and are ready for use without requiring reshaping or intensive maintenance.

5. Better Airflow: A pillow also ensures that the bag remains open just enough to allow air to circulate, which helps in avoiding moisture build-up and mold, especially in humid environments.
